Prana stretch zion pants: best climbing/travel pants i own.

I now have four pairs of these pants, but frankly, I only need one.
I'm not generally a big fan of Prana. I usually think their products are just too pricey for the utility, but these pants are an exception.
I've had my first pair for three or four years now. they have been worn on 90% of the climbs I have done in that time. J-Tree chimneys, valley granite, you name it. Hundreds of days on rock and trail.
More telling, when I spent a year traveling, I only packed two pairs of pants. I wore those zions near daily on seven continents over 12 months. Week after week of that time spent in tents and on rocks in Australia, Thailand, Patagonia, France, Utah, you name it. I put them to the test. They still don't have a single hole or fray. The fabric drys very fast, they stay cool, they wash easily, and they are very very durable. All this combined with the zip side and back pockets make them an ideal travel pant as well as a climbing pant. Frankly, if they fit you, it's worth the money. This is the best single piece of clothing gear that I own.
