Breaks and falls off

YAKTRAX Walker Shoe Crampon

I have burned through two pairs of YakTraxs. I got the cheap $20 version. I've had the rubber coming over the toe break on two separate occasions, all the first trip out. I do a lot of hiking in and around Boulder where the trails get snow-packed. I've also had one fall off and not notice and it was never heard from again. I would not recommend this to anyone. Perhaps it's just my size 10.5 boot is a bad size for the size range that is advertised. I'm going to try the YakTrax pro and see if that helps at all.
