The Monterosa's are just the sunglasses I have been looking for. The Spectron 4 lenses are perfect for the intense high desert Colorado sunshine that I live with. You can hear your eyes breathing a sigh of relief with these on your face. I tried Julbo's photochromatic lenses (Julbo Track Light) and when push came to shove, I had to admit that they did not provide enough protection. As for fit: I tend to run small around the eyes and have a problem with many sunglasses jutting out and allowing the glare in and creating an unflattering look. Not so with these; they hug my face almost perfectly. They do initially feel a bit tight behind the ears, but i am hoping with time they will loosen. Your eyes will thank you and you'll look too cool for words...what more can you ask for...

these looked ok but they didn't seem dark enough for the bright desert sunshine of the southwest. and yes, they were still a bit bigger than i want. will start looking at youth glasses.

These shorts are awesome!...My only complaint is that they are not made in canada but china. Love the fabric and the color mineral is a beautiful pale green that is much nicer than what's pictured on the website. I hope for the same high quality that I have come to expect from Arcteryx. Great price and great fit. I needed to exchange for size...usually a 4-6...the 6 were way too loose...Customer service is the BEST!

This is a great shell but WAY small...consider sizing up 2x if you want to wear a down or bulky fleece under it.
fabric seemed sturdy/durable but the sizing is crazy...

Beautiful vest...just be sure to size up if you want anything more than a thin layer under it...

The design of this cook system gives me chills -- it's absolutely brilliant!! It's no wonder Backpacker Magazine gave it it's Editor's Award for 2008. The hard anodized halulite alloy pot reminds me of a lighter version of the calphalon cookwear I use at home. It's easy to clean (using a little sand and then a little water) and continues to look new even after many a meal on the trail. It's also the perfect size for one -- not too small -- allowing you to do more than just boil water. The integrated handle is my favorite part; it's a much more stable design than precariously clipping on a pot handle. It packs up really small too -- a 110g or 220g fuel canister and canister stove all stack inside the pot along with the mug (you can buy a "telescoping" foon too). GSI even included a soft flannel pocket with a velcro closure so you can leave the hard canister stove case at home. Pop on the lid and click the pot handle over the top and voila! You are good to go. By the way, the pot lid has strainer holes (for making pasta) and FLIPPING the lid over and inserting it onto the mug allows it to double as a sip-it lid for keeping liquids hot. Oh yeah...and the stuff sack can be used as a little camp sink for washing the dishes. KUDOS to the designers of this and the dualist!!

I never thought i could actually get excited about a t-shirt but this one really rocks. I use it mainly for hiking but also just for hanging around. It super-soft and super- stretchy and TOTALLY itch free. The real beauty of it, however, is it's moisture management...no chill after you sweat, and no stink either. It dries and keeps you perfectly comfortable temperature-wise in a range of temperatures. And it does indeed have a feminine cut...a scoop neck which is very flattering. Beware, it does cling to your curves, so if you don't want that, look elsewhere. Otherwise, definitely worth the investment...another awesome product by smartwool...

The Sigg is undoubtedly a leader in the aluminum bottle world, but the 1.0L bottle does suffer from a few design flaws. As mentioned in another review, it does NOT fit in the cup holder in my car and the color on the blue maha that i received was streaky - which looked defective. On the positive side, the water tastes GREAT. However, there is a question of the leaching of aluminum into the water when using the Sigg to tote acidic drinks (juice, lemon etc.) and exposing the bottle to higher temperatures (outdoors, the car - in the sun?). I would like to see more safety testing on these aluminum/coated bottles. One alternative, the Laken brand bottle, does have test results on its website, and touts its own bottle as superior to the Sigg - with no leaching and with a mouth wide enough for ice cubes. They do warn against freezing the bottle or using it for hot liquids.

With everyone oohing and ahhing about the Thermarest, i decided to invest in the women's prolite 3. I'm just back from a trip to southern utah and have to report that i am VERY disappointed! I woke with sore hips each morning and would frequently wake in the middle of the night in pain unless sleeping on my back. I was also disappointed with how bulky it was. It took up A LOT of room in my pack and it was a struggle to get it into the stuff sack no matter how much air i tried to squeeze out of it. a Nalgene bottle??? double that size and more!... Definitely, not impressed...at all

I researched a lot of packs and finally decided on this one. It's chock full of features and beautifully and intelligently crafted/designed. It's perfect for long day trips and maybe a very lite overnight. The main problem for me was the rigid plastic ridge on the upper back of the pack. I have very little body fat and the ridge rubbed to the point of causing a major sore spot by the end of a 9 hour hike.

That's what the vendor tag says! I bought my regular size 6 and they were too loose. The manufacturer promises an extra 2 inch hem but it was more like 1.5 inches. So tall/long-legged women beware. The styling and fabric were beautiful and i would have loved to have kept these but not without the extra inseam length

I got these in size 6 Long and the inseam was 33 1/2 inches -- half an inch longer than promised. The pants are well made, dry quickly and have a great low-rise style. The main drawback is range of motion: no gusseted crotch and no spandex or give to the nylon material. But otherwise an excellent choice.

too bad they don't make a long inseam. these are comfortable, well made, and have a hip design. short-legged women - enjoy!
