I recently bought this tent because i needed a lightweight tent for backpacking.
Once i got the tent I immediately seam sealed it and took it hiking. The tent was great,
it didnt leak when it rained in the middle of the night. Not only that but it had no condensation on the mesh panels inside. My sleeping bag was completely dry. I like the DAC feather light poles because when i researched the tent compared to some Kelty tents i thought it was the best for the money. One because of the weight, two because it is classified as a 1 and 1/2 person tent. The aluminum poles are much better than the fiberglass poles. In the cold weather the fiberglass poles tend to break, which gives the canyonland's tent the advantage in my mind. If your budget fits for this tent i would say invest in it. Not only is it light weight, waterproof, and unique in how it opens, it also has the most head room i think for a single person tent.
