Like so many other reviewers, the SR-strap quit on me as well. Mine quit at about the year and a half mark usual casual wear / tear. The watch, itself, is in great shape and still works flawlessly. Which begs the question as to why Suunto equipped such a durable, reliable, watch with such an unreliable strap? I have no problem recommending this watch, but only if you're willing to set aside some cash for near-future strap replacement(s).

I use these tights as a base layer under my ski pants as well as rain pants and so far they are doing the job very well. My main concern was how well they would sit above my ski socks, staying out of my boots but as close to the top of the socks as possible to minimize cold spots. For me, they sit pretty much perfectly above my ski socks and, more or less, stayed there throughout the day.

Just to give you guys a heads up, the specs on these pants are wrong about the pockets. It does not have 2 front, nor 2 back. It has only one pocket - on the right leg like in the picture.

I was pretty disappointed after being pretty excited to receive these pants today. I'm still debating whether or not I can find a way to get by with just that pocket. I was really hoping to get some multi-use out of these pants: outdoor excursions + around town / on campus. But the one pocket is so small it'll probably just fit a wallet; which leaves me holding my keys and phone all day long. So much for that idea...

A previous reviewer mentioned that the screen on this watch was extremely dim, to the point that reading it is difficult. I went ahead with the purchase anyway hoping that he got a defective unit, as he suspected the same. Well, its not a defect (unless I so happen to have gotten a bad one as well). The screen is virtually impossible to read indoors without popping the back-light on. Outside (no pun intended) its a little bit better but not much. I'll be sending this back, with great disappointment.

Not Recommended for people with Small / Medium sized wrists.
The way this watch is designed, you need a large wrist size. The straps come out of the main watch body at a set angle and that angle is not meant for small wrists. I have medium sized wrists and could barely fit into the watch, there was a small amount of space left at joints where the strap meets the watch face (nothing you can do about it).

Beyond the convenience of being compact and light, the Z-Lite gives you that little extra piece of mind that it won't go flat on you because you've parked on that one jagged little pebble that you swore you brushed away when you cleaned your site.

The medium was a bit smaller than I'd hoped for. Couldn't get a sleeping bag into it, so I compact my socks, underwear, a towel, beanie, and a sweater; so it worked itself out.

Unlike most reviewers for these boots, I had a super hard time breaking these puppies in. They fit perfectly, provides great ankle support, kept my feet super dry, and gripped the terrain like there was no tomorrow. However, the bend at the front pinched the life out of my feet. I put 10 solid miles on them throughout the course of a weekend and my toes felt like they were going to fall off. Besides my poor toes, though, the rest of my feet love these boots!

This snap shackle is super handy around the camp site. It got passed around so much at one point I thought I'd never get it back.

Among two other experienced hikers and 15 backpacking miles later, I came home with 1 real blister, about 5-6 less than everyone else. Good socks, I hope they last - they'll see more action soon.

Best backpack I've owned to date. I use it to get me around campus from class to class, but I do plan on taking it camping as well; it looks like it would be great for use as a day-pack when hiking.
