4FRNT Skis Bedrock Pullover Hoodie - Men's

4FRNT Skis Bedrock Pullover Hoodie - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 May 17, 2012

This is one of my favorite hoodies ever. It has a taller, but not too big fit, and the kanga pouch comes in handy more often than I thought it would. The button up style is different than most hoodies as well, which I like.

4FRNT Skis CRJ Ski

February 26, 2012

The CRJs are similar to the JJ, but they are going to be a little more stable, and a little more versatile in variable snow, my experience.

As long as you get the Peak 15/18 version, and not the Peak 12 version you should be fine.

4FRNT Skis YLE Ski

4FRNT Skis YLE Ski

Rating for this product: 5 October 9, 2011

I've been skiing Alta on my CRJs for the past two years, and have been loving life. Then, I got on the YLEs and I was instantly converted.

These are the perfect every day ski, not just for fun jibby pow runs, but also for crud, groomer days and slashing big, fast lines in the backcountry. I even had a pretty fun run through the pipe on these babies.

Get yourself a pair, and don't look back.

4FRNT Skis TNK Ski

August 4, 2011

The TNK is great for skiing park and lapping groomers all day. They are stiff enough to handle speeds, and have enough side-cut to make quick turns in the moguls.

They are pretty narrow, so once the snow starts to get deep you'll probably want to reach for your pow skis.

4FRNT Skis Turbo Ski

You should be pretty good on a 189 if you like the 86 Ren. If you are only looking to ski super tight trees with the Turbo you could go to 82, but otherwise go 89.

I would go for the 187 if it were me. I'm about your size, and the 187 skis awesome.

4FRNT Skis CRJ Ski - DO NOT USE

4FRNT Skis CRJ Ski - DO NOT USE

Rating for this product: 5 December 6, 2010

These are by far the most fun ski I've ever ridden. I got them for powder days, but they've turned into my every day ski pretty quickly. I love the underfoot camber for hard pack and variable snow, but the rocker in tip and tail keep you floating up in the soft stuff. It also makes riding switch in powder super easy.

I rode some demos of last year's model, and you can definitely notice the stiffer tail in the 10/11s. It's nice to have something to lean back against if you get backseat a little bit.

4FRNT Skis VCT Turbo Ski

Mount them at the mid-sole if you're going to ski it every day. If you plan on skiing switch a bunch I'd mount it a couple cm forward of that.

4FRNT Skis EHP Ski

May 17, 2010

These are awesome skis. I've had the chance to ride them for like 5 days, and normally ski CRJs. The CRJs are more "fun" if that's a way to describe skis, but the EHPs absolutely rip anything at high speeds. They don't corner super tight, or do well in bumps, but they may be the best big-mountain/steep/fast ski I've ever ridden.

Great Bag for World Travels

DAKINE EZ Traveler Gear Bag - 5400cu in.

DAKINE EZ Traveler Gear Bag - 5400cu in.

Rating for this product: 5 December 17, 2009

I bought this bag for a trip I was taking to Eastern Europe last year, and since then I've had it on three continents and both coasts of the US. It's a little dirty, but there is nothing wrong with the bag from a functional standpoint. The roller wheels are great, and with the plastic strike pad at the bottom, I just roll it over, around and through pretty much everything.

The only complaint I have is that it's an inch too short to fit my skateboard, but that's my fault for riding a long-ish deck, I guess.

Super happy with my purchase, and I'll buy another Dakine bad next time.
