I purchased this tent and immediately set it up in the backyard. It was cumbersome, but it is possible for one person to set up the tent. I was surprised at how tight the tent body was, and it was difficult to get the poles into the pins.
The first use was with 4 adults and 1 kid in a pack-and-play. I liked the partition curtain with two separate rooms. After a light overnight rain, I was somewhat surprised to see significant moisture on the underside of the fly. I figured it was condensation.
After a couple more uses, the tent was still extremely tight. I noticed that the corners of the tent were starting to get stressed at the stitching. A call was made to Kelty, and they offered to shorten the poles and fix the corner stitching.
I tried the tent after it was "fixed" and found that it was still extremely tight, and the corner stitching wasn't fixed. After an overnight rain, there was large drops of water hanging from the underside of the fly. Since there were only two people in the tent, I couldn't believe that it was condensation. After some investigation, I realized that the fly was saturated and rain had soaked through the fly.
Another call was placed to Kelty, and I convinced them to replace the tent with a new one. I sold this tent and am looking for a replacement, possibly the Big Agnes Big House.
