That depends on your definitions of "fit" and "helmet." The hood is on the smaller side - which I like when wearing a hat.

But, for example, I don't wear it over my Giro Omen because I can't zip the zipper up high enough. I do, however, wear it over my Petzl Meteor III. The zipper still won't go all the way up, but 95% of the way is good enough for me.

excellent waxing iron

Swix Economy Wax Iron

After using a repurposed clothes iron for years to wax my planks, this little swix guy was a fantastic surprise. It's got a large, feature-less, flat metal face that is larger than my skis. I'm not sure how accurate the temperature control is, but about mid-way through the dial it's hot enough to do a good job outside in 10 degree weather. Good enough for me. For the price, it's pretty decent.

I can only think of one reason why this jacket is so warm: unicorns. This thing is so incredible, it must be stuffed with the hair of organic-grass-fed unicorns. That would explain its completely unbelievable lack of weight, out-of-this-world warmth, and unmatched versatility. Do yourself a favor, and just go buy this thing already... before PETA starts claiming that organic unicorn hair cannot be sustainably harvested.

the "permanently out of stock" bit wasn't there when i was looking. but, for the record, i have since gotten one of these - straight from Marmot. they're NOT permanently out of stock - the guy i talked to on the phone was sitting on a new box-full. if you're looking for one, give 'em a call! also, talk about customer service - the dude sent me one for free since I had waited so long!

Does anybody know if these will ever be available again (aside from the fact that it says "Permanently..." here) ? How could the footprint to an award winning tent not be for sale anywhere? I have the Twilight 2P, but it didn't come with the fprint; been trying to buy one for two years now!

Marmot Twilight 2-Person Tent w/ Footprint and Gear Loft

Had this tent for about 6 months now, and love it every time I use it. It's seen everything from uneventful, warm, spring nights on the east coast, and torrential thunderstorms with hail in the mountain west plains of Wyoming. This tent is deceptively spacious. Two people is totally comfortable; two people and a medium sized dog started to feel like a real outdoor experience. Vestibules are ginormous, and keep all your gear dry and protected. The double doors are super convenient. Some friends and I went camping in a strong windstorm and people were practically bidding to stay in my tent. Sure enough, the other tent pretty much folded in half; the Twilight barely even shook.
