Arc'teryx Stinger Jacket - Men's
September 9, 2010
Zip in liners do not work as well as separates. Just get a good fleece and wear it under the jacket.

Black Diamond Octane Backpack - 1700-1831cu in
July 9, 2010
NO, you cannot. The straps are under the stretchy pocket fabric. BD should allow routing of the straps under and over the stretch pockets. Osprey and Gregory do it, so this is a quite a stunning oversight on a premium-priced daypack.

Osprey Packs Stratos 24 Backpack - 1343-1587cu in
July 7, 2010
No, this is not a school pack- the suspension frame is curved and is not laptop-friendly. This a pack for epic 10-hour dayhikes or for hauling heavy gear, think ice axes, crampons, and rope or a heavy photocamera.

Arc'teryx Stinger Jacket - Men's DO NOT USE
April 24, 2009
The previous advice is wrong. Both Stinger and Stingray are 100% waterproof. Stingray is just made from a softer very slightly heavier material.

Rossignol Axial2 Freeride 150 Ski Binding - Wide
March 4, 2009
These bindings DO have the upward release, what are you talking about? I just got a pair of these and they are super solid, although I don't recommend them for Guns, hey are too heavy for that ski, go get the marker Jester instead, they are about 1 lb lighter, the jester also has upward releaseNo, this is the single pivot race toepiece and it does NOT have upward release. Rossi/Look toepeices with upward release top out at DIN14, which is more than enough for every mere mortal.

Dynastar PX 14 Racing XXL Ski Binding
January 2, 2009
They should. The product description and the technical specs above seem to contradict a bit. Dynastar supposedly reccomends them for the Legend XXL (109mm underfoot) but the specs say they have a 100mm brake.I would say you would have no problem getting these over a Gotama. Worst case scenario you have to put a slight bend in the brake, which is not a big deal at all.The XXL has a 110 mm brake.

Arc'teryx Stingray Jacket - Men's
June 17, 2008
This is a softshell jacket, whilst the Sidewinder SV is a hardshell jacket.Well, not exactly true, Stingray is a GoreTEx soft shell, which is not a true soft shell, but a 3-layer GoreTex with softer outer layer and a brush interior. it is just as waterproof as regular GoreTex, but it is heavier, and softer to the touch. If you do a lot of touring or backcountry use, get the SIdewinder, for resort skiing GoreTex Soft shell (Stingray) is king.
