This backpack is a perfect bag for students who also like to have adventures on the weekends. The pocket designed for a hydration reservoir fits my laptop perfectly and the suspension system keeps all my books and my computer from moving around or becoming uncomfortable, even if I choose to ride my bike to class. The organizer pocket is also great for holding all my supplies like pens, calculator, and an energy bar or other snacks. The Electron is at its best, however, when taken out of the city and onto the trail (or water, rock face, snow, etc.). The suspension passed every test that nature threw at it, keeping all of my belongings centered and close to my back for an easy and comfortable carry. The included rainfly is just icing on the cake, the side pockets are perfect for a nalgene or digital camera, and the bungee chord is really convenient for holding a rain jacket or sweatshirt that might come on and off or need to be kept accessible. My favorite part of this pack is probably the comfy suspension, with a very well-designed waist belt and a comfy, yet light and breathable back panel.
