Can anyone tell me if I should get these pants or the insulated

The North Face Freedom Pant - Men's

Can anyone tell me if I should get these pants or the insulated version of this? Just got a pair because they fits well but not sure if I should get the insulated ones since I have never ski. I got a pair of North Face flennel for the base layer. Would both be enough or I should switch to the insulated with the flennel under? Temperture is about 30's day time and I don't expect to ski night time for the time being.
