My job basically makes me live in the outdoors. I am outdoors basically all the time in Northern Wisconsin where the temps drop to the negatives frequently in the winters. Those days are some of the best days for camping. The only problem that I have with this jacket is when you get close to the camp fires you can put holes in the jacket. It is able to be repaired fairly easily when it gets a tear in it. I tore wide open doing some work and had the guts (feathers) flying everywhere in the wind! I took some duct tape and put it on the inside of the jacket and sealed up the seam again. Then I took a needle and thread and stitched it up quick making sure to go through the tape on the backside. With the quick repair it was good to go. The coat is incredibly warm and the drawstrings help to keep all the warmth tucked away nice and close even on the most frigid of days.
