I ordered these on SAC and was very pleasantly surprised when I received them. The shorts looked fairly standard in the pictures but I really like them in person, and the material is fantastic! The 4 way stretch is super comfortable, they breathe well, and have quickly become my favorite shorts for hiking and general use. They almost look a little more "dressy", love 'em!

These gloves look sharp! They seem to be well put together, nice soft leather palm, not too bulky, and retain a good amount of dexterity. I have yet to wear them in cold conditions but they seem warm enough for some cool temps. I would guess these would make good spring condition gloves on the slopes.

This pad surprised me, I got it for a 4 day backpacking trip from June Lake to Mammoth Lakes. It performed very well, as others have said I did not feel the ground at all even when sleeping on my side. Also the valve seems nice and sturdy, comes with a patch, and packs up nice, light, and small.

I really wanted to like these shoes judging by the description. The pros first: true to fit, look nice, decent construction. Cons: I guess it could be the tradeoff for weight but everything except the sole and toe cap seems flimsy, the top part of the shoe is very thin and rubbery with minimal padding around the ankle, tongue, and especially top of foot. I only wore the shoes once before returning them because I found them to be very uncomfortable for the top of the foot when I walked. They seemed to "bunch" funny and I could feel the pressure from the "eyes" for the laces touching the top of my foot. Additionally they did not breathe well at all, it was about 72 outside an my feet were hot and getting sweaty very quickly, typically not a problem for me. They feel like cheap ducky rain boots from wally world! I can't believe the msrp for these is a buck fifty, I paid a lot less on SAC but not worth it.

I wore these pants on a 4 day backpacking trip and they were super awesome! They are comfortable, stretchy when climbing, and also look great when you get back into town! Highly recommend!
