Super light and strong. I took these into the White Mountains on some pretty steep goat trails covered with ice and packed snow. No problems digging into frozen river flows.
I like the front toe binding it's easy to flip down over your boot.
These are meant for more of a ski boot with a narrow heel. My mistake I didn't realize that until I got them. But after chopping off the two side heel tabs and flexing out the bail wire a little they fit nicely over my North Face boots. The mechanism is quick to lock and I never had any trouble with them loosening up at all. Super easy to adjust the length and they pack into a small shave kit bag nicely to hang from my pack.
Overall I think these are well worth the money and performed exceptionally well.
