Such a Shame...

The North Face Chilkats Winter Boot - Women's

I bought these boots due to the effusive reviews posted on the site. Although they were warm and thoroughly water proof it is amazing that anyone could wear them more than twice. The top of the boots are incredibly stiff which left a giant red welt on both of my calves. Initially I blamed myself for not wearing thick enough socks. On the second try I wore two pairs of thick wool socks but it was no use. It took three weeks for the red marks to finally fade.
