I initially ordered a Paha Que Perry Mesa tent, because I thought a 4 person tent with a screen room would be very useful for a week long camping trip.
Well, I was mistakenly shipped the Promontory 3 times in a row, so I decided to keep the tent because I had a trip planned and couldn't wait for Backcountry to figure out where they kept the Perry Mesa.
After using the Promontory, I am glad for the mix-up. The Promontory is almost as big as the Perry Mesa, and has a full floor, where the Perry Mesa doesn't have a floor on the screen room side.
The Promontory is also $135 less than the Perry Mesa and just seems like it would be a lot more weather worthy since it has a solid floor throughout the tent.
Thank you Backcountry for sending me the tent I was really meant to own, and for having friendly customer service people.
