Purchased the Mantra 7 18 months ago. My wife and I fit comfortably with our 5 kids. We usually camp in the higher elevations so ventilation is not an issue. The tent withstood moderate rain and snowstorms on many occasions. This past August was the real test as we camped in the high Uintahs. Every afternoon for five days it hailed marbles for an hour and then rained for three to four hours. The tent took the wind and hail without sagging and kept the water out. I have been soaked in many family tents over the years and purchased this one after much research. The poles are bulky out of necessity for strength on a tent this large.
