I bought this on SAC so was a super deal. Its nice lightweight rain jacket to take hiking/backpacking or even to keep in the car for those unexpected downpours. I took it on my trip up Mt. Whitney and it performed like a champ. Not the most breathable piece on the planet, but its not awful. Love it!

This was my windproof layer on my summit of Mt. Whitney...no issues. It looks stylish so you can wear it around town (I do all the time) but definitely performs when the winds kick up. Is super-breathable too so you don't get clammy while hiking with a heavy pack. A little pricey, but worth it!

Great product and has always worked like a charm. Have not tested in poor weather, but has worked like a champ in warm, cold, windy, and above 11,000-ft in The Sierras. Having good coffee in the backcountry is priceless!!

Hestra XCR Mitten

They are not included, but you can buy a pair from Hestra's website for around $20. I bought these for mine and they work great. http://www.hestrausa.com/prod.php?p=HES3415. Used them in B.C., ID and, MT last year in 0-degree weather and was always warm and toasty!
