Great vest

Mountain Hardwear WindStopper Tech Vest - Men's

Very impressed with the warmth for such a lightweight, thin vest. Definitely a wind stopper. Since my old vest is a 25 year old puffy down one, I expected to wear a vest as an outer layer, but this is too trip to wear over most sweaters, which is fine because it's a perfect mid layer, and warmer that way. Backcountry's prices can't be beat.

Best active jacket I've had

I've worn this on several bikes rides with temps in the mid-30s and serious wind. With a base layer, it's been perfect. Totally blocks the wind, and breathability is great. At 5'10" and 160, Large is perfect for allowing base layer and freedom of movement. No post-ride stank. Why pay more for better known brands?
