I actually purchased these to walk my dog. Before, I was using ski mittens with liners and reusable hand warmers. If the temp was below 20 my hands got cold, in the single digits they actually started hurting. Now I can go out in any temp.

The downside is they are like putting small sleeping bags on your hand. ZERO dexterity. To do anything you have to pull your hands out. I can't use them exercising at all, way too warm. For standing around in the cold, they can't be beat.
