I will probably receive critisim for this, but I was just wondering if I am the only one who has wondered about this..the whole idea of compression clothing seems to me too artificial of a way to enhance performance. I've tried them, loved them, but am still skeptical. I'm not suggesting at all that the products are a gimmick. I think the technology is remarkable, and definitey the right direction for someone recovering from an injury and looking to ease back into activity. But beyond that it kind of brings to mind the compression suits that are disallowed in some weight-lifting competitions. Or the whole orthotic controversy...are they really just making our feet weaker? Well the same goes for shoes...instead of letting of bodies move naturally and correct themselves, we are relying on other means. Of course if I had a chronic imbalance and this was the only way for me to be able to run pain-free I'd buy 100 pairs! But for the general population...I'm on the fence with this one...
