I should also add I have a 35.5 inch sleeve and the large sleeve was plenty long. If you have longer arms than 36, you may need the XL just for the sleeve length. I suggest you do what I did and order both, just return one. BC return policy is the best in the business.

After carefully reading others opinions here I went ahead and ordered both a large and XL (I'm 6 2", 200 lbs) because I wasn't sure which would be a better fit. I fully recognize this is designed as an outer piece to be worn over all other layers (belay jacket). For me the Large was the better size. The quality was outstanding and typical of any Arcteryx jacket. Having said that, I returned both. As others have commented, the cut of the shoulders is insane, literally like the jacket still has an oversize beefy hanger stuffed in it. The wearer does look like he's wearing shoulder pads, no doubt. I'm still giving it 5 stars because the jacket is killer if you don't mind that look. For me, no bueno. If they round the shoulders off on this jacket I'd give it 10 stars........

Arc'teryx Caliber Zip-Neck Sweater - Men's

Just took delivery of this piece. I own a variety of Arcteryx pieces. In my opinion, they are the best in the business. This fleece is a perfect mid weight layer. Not too form fitting but not too baggy either. Very well designed. Great lounging around in or for light hiking. It's too nice for a hiking thrasher. Not as heavy as the Arc Covert line but just as stylish. I'm 6'2 and 200 pounds with a 35 inch sleeve. XL is perfect. Solid addition!
