I was disappointed when I first opened the package but the following issues were resolved upon using the gloves. I have small hands and the mediums I purchased seemed to fit tightly. The gloves loosened up quickly and I later appreciated the dexterity resulting from the good fit. I really wanted a glove with gauntlets on them because I didn't want snow to get into my sleeves. The gloves cinch snugly around the outside of the jacket which stops the snow from getting into your sleeves. Lastly, cinching at the wrists was awkward at first but I quickly found that snugging up the wrist cinch before putting my hands in the gloves gave me enough cinch to get a hold of and pull tight. All of my initial concerns were just a matter of getting used to the gloves. My hands stayed warm and dry but the weather wasn't severely cold. I am happy with my purchase.
