After pulling these pants all the way on (with force), it was about an inch too big in the waste, but I would have split the seat if I would have bent over or god forbid sit down.

Had a friend who is about two less inches in the waiste try on too, and he found them to be about three inches too big in the waste and unable to fully bend and also didn't want to sit for fear of splitting.

Conclusion is these pants were designed for folks that can wear 'skinny' jeans. ie skinny legs and no back-side.

Fantastic and almost too warm.

Patagonia Down Sweater Vest - Men's

This vest was much slimmer fitting than expected (note the 'slim fit' sizing guide on this bad boy), but love it just the same. Wears easily under other coats or my recommendation the Patagonia Reversible Flannel Jacket.It is a little warmer than i expected so I find that i can't wear it indoors for too long, but I'm a warm person too, so that maybe not everyone's experience.Thin, ultra light weight, and easily packable makes this my second new favorite piece of outer wear this winter (first bing that reversible flannel jacket)

Finally, Backcountry.com needs a new product photographer as their web picture of the Autumn-Leaf is off to say the least. I originally saw this item from Patagonia's website, and was a little weary of buying when seeing it on Backcounry's...but correctly assumed that someone simply had the flash settings up a little high that day and I was correct. The real color of this item is much darker and more orange than yellow.
