I tried to use several pairs of shoes for park riding and just tore them up in no time flat. I even think that I broke a toe during a bail. These shoes are going to last a long time and protect my feet while they do it. They're stiff enough in the sole to not fatigue your feet while you're standing for extended periods and the toe is sturdy enough to give some protection. They also have a unique lacing system to keep 'em out of the crank and keep your feet comfortable. If I had to come up with a gripe I'd say that they are a little hot but so is my full-face, and I still wear it. Now, if they could only come up with a way to make them pedal...

I wish they had pockets but they are perfect for the park, not so much for the trail. I wouldn't want to pedal in them but I think these things might be indestructible.

These things rock. They are really tough and going to hold up. The waist band is really adjustable so you can wear 'em loose but keep 'em up. Really comfy rad shorts. That's right I said rad

Took these shorts out for 2 days at the bike park and after a wash noticed that some of the stitching was coming out around a couple of the pads, and the very back must have taken some abrasion from my spine protection cause it was pretty scuffed up. Hopefully this is an isolated incident cause these things were comfortable. I took a few spills and don't know if they took a hit or not, so I guess that's good cause I tumbled for one of 'em. Only other thing that I noticed was that the thigh pads didn't breath, but, you don't notice it till you take 'em off at the truck and realize that they were hot. Also, there's no chamois, just a lycra short with armor. I'm giving them 3 stars cause I wish that they would have been as tough as they were functional and comfortable.

This jersey is pretty sweet. Totally bummed that I had to return it for a larger size though. I always wear a medium in about every shirt that I have but the Medium is a bit too smal to go over elbow pads and 661 pressure suit. (too tight for the elbow pads and the suit made the sleeves too short. I went off the XL question below) Seems like it will breath pretty well and hold up to abuse.

Well... besides being the lightest platforms that I could find, the good news is that your feet don't move... and the bad news is that your feet don't move. Readjustment on the fly takes some doing. Oh, shin guards are a must and watch the calf. The pins will need replacing after some rock munching but a trip to the hardware store and some blue locktite will make these things only good news.

I've got the bars on an Uzzi with 7 and 7. The bike has taken a few tumbles, several lay-downs and a tree at moderate speed and the bars are holding up strong. I'm personally leary of the tumble in the rock garden scoring the bars but it hasn't happened yet. Superlight and stiff with great looks.
