These pants are fantastic! They are super comfortable and very well made (no wonder the company offers a lifetime guarantee)! The fact that they are fashionable did not factor into my purchase, but it turns out that it's somewhat gratifying to wear something "mod" now and again. I'm so pleased with these pants that I ordered a second pair....
