I got this for Christmas and have worn in by itself playing hockey on Northern Minnesota outdoor rinks, nordic skiing and ski touring in the cascades. For Oregon winters in the valley it's a bomber top for biking and skateboarding. I couldn't ask for a better mid weight layer. It's a staple through and through
