Most of their stuff does runs shorts for the size. I really figured the hardshells wouldn't, considering it is your outer layer and should be larger then the other garments they sell. Sherpa could really benefit from adding tall sizes.

I have 3 Sherpa jackets, none that are harshell though, and I have to wear an XXL with a 46-48 chest. I am 6'5 250lbs with broad shoulders and an athletic build. The XXLs fit me very well. A little tight in the shoulders, but the rest is spot on, and I like a fitted look. In your case, if you have broad shoulders, I would go with the Large.

Awesome around town jacket!

I have several pieces from Sherpa, but this is one of my favorite. Fit is similar to their softshells, so it is still athletic cut. Very soft and warm, but does a really good job of regulating body heat. I can go from being outside in 20 degree weather, to inside hanging out, and be completely comfortable in both environments. All with just a regular t-shirt underneath.

The fleece backing is soft and comfortable against the skin, while the outside is a nice rugged wool. Another plus is the jacket also seems to fight smoke. I wore it in a bar one night, with heavy smoke from cigarettes, and amazingly I came out without smelling like smoke.

I might just have to buy another!
