I have used these shoes for cross country and downhill riding and they are awesome! The super grippy soles keep my feet on my pedals so I can focus more on my riding and not worry about my feet. They have wonderful arch support which especially helps for all of the standing during downhill runs. I am not a person who would ever feel truly comfortable wearing clip-less for downhill, so these are the perfect in-between!
