I'm going with five stars on this one. I looked around a lot for a jacket to do everything and this is it. It holds up in a downpour for at least a half hour, breathes very well and is completely windproof. It looks sharp and fits nicely. It has no insulation but I have had it on down to the low 40's and been comfortable. In black, it gets a little toasty in the sun above 60 but I have never felt wet in it. I bought large originally and the girlfriend loved it (slimming, fitted chest) but the length was a little short. I broke her heart and ordered an XL and it is perfect. The one complaint is it looks a little baggy when you seal the bottom tight but I'm not too vain so it doesn't bother me.Overall, Stellar jacket, will block the wind without a doubt and she'll love it.I'm 6'4 180.

Marmot Sharp Point Softshell Jacket - Men's

I bought this last year and have to say i was a little disappointed. First off, it seemed very nice coming out of the box, however the first time I put it on, the stitching on the back of the collar ripped all the way across. It also was way stiff for a softshell, probably due to the fleece. It was very warm and seemed very durable but didn't fit my needs. Sizing was also boxy for skinny people.
