This is my third pairs of the same model. By far the best shoes I own. The lacing system is the best. The only contra that I can tell you is that the sole is not big, therefore the suspension is not very good when you have a backpack. If you do not know to chose between the goretex and the normal one. I tell you a tip. The goretex are more durable and resistant. But if you submerge the shoe in river or the sea or something this will not let the water out of the shoe. And they will not dry fast. So the goretex is the best to do not let water in the shoe. But it is also de best to do not let the water out of the shoe once you have it. I have the goterex model and the normal model. And I have being using them for about 3 years.
