Smith Skullcandy Bluetooth Helmet Audio Kit

Smith Skullcandy Bluetooth Helmet Audio Kit

Purcahsed and placed on a brand new Smith Variant helmet size medium. The sound is O.K. attached to droid. The fit is poor at best. The straps on the helmet interfere with the earpieces. Secondary, the weight of the earpieces cause them to pull from the plastic helmet. At that point the straps hold it all onto the helmet. Old helmets used to have snaps, might be time to consider retro. The controls are a little hard to operate without practice, but in fairness I wear mittens. I can adequately operate them with practice, but a bit more relief seems like it would help a bit. Overall I'm satisfied, but I'm not sure I am for the currency I took from my wallet. My old helmet just had plug-n-play headphones with a microphone to the phone and I think for the money it worked almost better.

Rossi Scratch Sprayer w/ Randonee set-up

Rossignol Scratch Sprayer BC Alpine Ski

Rossignol Scratch Sprayer BC Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 4 April 19, 2007

I'm 185 lbs, 6'1" and purchased the 170cm Rossignol Scratch Sprayer ski, mounted Naxo21 randonee bindings and use a Garmont Adrenaline boot. Outstanding set-up with the ability to turn on dimes. The Rossi is a forgiving ski that responds with just the smallest forward pressure. I actually leave my boots loose on top because they don't need to be tight. I do get just a bit of chatter at high speeds on groom. Carving on crud or ice though is no issues and edge to edge switches are crisp and fast. They weren't kidding when they said you can ride everything but the parking lot. I haven't tried the park yet, but a few small jumps have been effortless. If you are a high speed bullet, you'll likely be annoyed at chatter. I'm a trees and turning guy so it's not a big deal. I'm not as impressed with my Naxo21's. Think I should have went with the TLT binding and Freeride Garmont. There fine for resorts, a bit clunky and heavy for backcountry on the trips I've taken.
