I love the fit of northface fleece. THis jacket fits me perfect and is very warm. If its real cold and windy, bust out the shell too.

Nice and roomy with a straight cut that does not taper. The pant is not victim to the skinny jean fad----And, i thank Prana for that. The material feels good too.

THe other positive reviews say it well. this jacket fits great, functions great, and looks great. Perfect.

Well, i went for the Arc'teryx Alpha LT Jacket because the color, fit, feel, was better. I also like the minimalist approach. The free thinker has some really cool features but it kinda over kill for me. I do a lot more than snow board and this jacket is geared for that...

30 inch waist was more like 45 inches. Fit good in the legs but belting up the waist bunched too much. No can hang. if i did find a waist that fit reasonable, the legs would be way too skinny. Influenced by the skinny fad are we??

Dumb designer pocket--overkill. And, dumb fake fading down the thighs and ass. Go euro. Not for me.

The jacket is great. I love the newtpgr.

Temp test in light wind conditions: Being sedentary in the High 50's with a t-shirt underneath was doable. Sedentary in the 40's i used a t-shit, micro fleece and this jacket--also doable.

I think North face goes over-board with the logo branding. Do i really need one on the front AND back of the jacket? Why can't the logo stitching be the same color as the jacket--must it be bright white?

The cut and fit are so nice though--- i'll just carefully color that white stitching with a black permanent marker.

I have one pair that absolutely rocks! Perfect in every way. Then i ordered a second pair a year later and the sides were extended and who knows what else (i'll up load a pic later). The result was a funny looking second pair that just did not drape the same. I wish they wouldn't change the designs. They may still work for you but my finicky ass can't go with other cut. Maybe each batch of Eiger shorts are cut a little different and i should try again??

I love these pants. I don't have big thighs---so what, these pants look cool on me. And, I carry a fat money clip that fits perfect in the front zipper pocket. Great freedom to move with these. Super tuff feeling and at the same time soft to touch. Nice to have baggy-ish pants in this day and age of "skinny" jeans.Bravo!
