Answer to: "Are these the 09 stock already? Was it the 09 that was on chainlove"

These ARE NOT the 2009 model. I called and the guy said they were 2008's and he didn't see an order on-file for any 2009's, yet. The weight quoted (1040g) is wrong...the 2008's are 1200g.

Got this pack a few weeks ago and have done a couple hikes with it, fully loaded. It was a LOT of work to get the harness set up correctly, but once set up the pack has been very comfortable and allows great mobility. I did have one of the cinch cords for the top closure come undone, but that's the only problem I've had with the pack. Crampons fit real well in the outside pocket, although I do wish there were a few more pockets available. I can juuust fit enough stuff in the pack to do a solo overnighter.
Light, comfortable pack that allows great mobility.
