I just got back from a week-long trip to Colorado (Keystone, Vail, Beaver Creek, Breck), and I had to haul a ton of gear to last through the week. As we all know, airports don't give you as much flexibility with what you bring, along with how much they allow you to bring on a flight.

The 60/40 bag saved me on a few different levels. First, the bag was too big to bring on the flight, so I simply unzipped the bag, and made it into two bags. Problem solved. Secondly, I did not have to bring five smaller bags in order to get all of my gear, as the one bag was able to hold everything (boots, jackets, pants, etc.).

I have never been one to write these types of reviews, but when something really makes my life better, I want to make sure that I share it with anyone who wants to take a minute to read a post.

If you are looking for a bag that is heavy duty (yes, they will beat the snot out of your luggage at the airport), will hold all of your gear, and will last, look no further than the DAKINE 60/40 Rolling Gear Bag. Hey, 9700 cubic inches of space is huge.
