I have been a die-hard Marmot fan for years. I still have a jacket that I bought from them when they had there store in Grand Junction, Colorado. The latest addition that I have added is the Spiral Paints. I have been backcountry skiing and ice climbing several times here in Ouray county with them, and so far seem to be working out well. I like the insulation properties of them. They keep me warm on belays with only some mid weight poly pro underneath. On the other hand they seem to breathe very well for aerobic workouts. I'm still out on how durable they are, but so far they are pretty bomb proof. The one thing that needs a little closer look at is the vent zippers. They have vent zippers that run up each side of the upper thigh area. Though a good idea they have both grab the inner mesh lining and pretty much destroyed it. Don't work so good. I kind of have taken the mesh liner away from the zippers.
