Good shoes

KEEN Targhee ll Hiking Shoe - Men's

This is my 4th pair. The one drawback is the soles wear out quick which is why I have had to replace them annually. I have used them for casual wear, backpacking, hiking, running, snow blowing when the snow is not too deep, and most everything else. I had one pair replaced by customer service because the toe caps came unglued. Customer service at Keen was very helpful. The store I bought them from was not.

They are not good for dancing because they have too much traction on a dry floor, but the traction is only fair on ice.

The waterproof membrane works well and feet stay dry in shallow puddles. My first pair got too hot but the latter pairs have not. I think they changed the membrane material

I like the wide platform and the insole works well for my foot. I use the insoles for other shoes after the shoes wear out
