My wife and I did RAGBRAI (a bicycle ride across Iowa) with about 15000 other riders last summer. The first night into the ride a very bad storm with tornado strength winds and rain blew through the campground. I stayed in the tent and had to hold the sides with the wind blowing but never got a drop of rain in the tent. The next morning when we got up we found the storm had destroyed quite a number of other tents in the camping area. This year I have done two week-long bike tours and one weekend ride. I tow a B.O.B. trailer with my recumbent bike. When I set up the tent, which is very easy for one person to do, I can put my trailer under the back vestibule and be able to get into my bag even if it is raining. There is also plenty of room to put my bike on one side and my Thermarest on the other side of the tent with a lot of additional room. The Gunnison 4 makes a perfect companion for either a short or long camping trip, and I very highly recommend it.
