Sunglass Fitting Guide
by J.E.B.Señor Sun is back to blast another round of mid-summer glow over our fair continent, so don’t leave the house without a proper pair of shades lest your retinas get singed.
Sizes
Before we show you the goods we think you might benefit from a brief discussion on sizing. It’s crucial to know your face’s size and shape before you decide to purchase. A general rule of thumb is that if you have a smaller face size, smaller sunglasses will look and fit better. The same goes for the big-head people out there—you peeps need big shades.
Just as important is face shape. Shapes include oval, round, diamond, square, oblong, and triangle, and each has its optimal corresponding sunglasses shape. So take a look at our models to help you figure out which shape of face you have and then go here to scope our amazing collection of sunnies.

Oval
In general, any frame shape looks good on an oval shaped face, so you just need to be concerned with frame size. | Round
Wider frames with angular/rectangular styles look great on round faces (especially Scandinavian ones). |
Diamond
Oval, square, and rimless frames look especially good on diamond-shaped faces because they help to soften contours. |
Square
Round frames and Cat Eyes reduce the angles of your face and add definition. |
Oblong
Round or square frames look good on this face shape because they help to widen or shorten the face. (Just make sure the frames aren’t wider than the widest part of the face.) |
Triangle
Frames with a straight top line or Cat Eyes are recommended for triangular faces since they accent the eye area and balance the jaw line. |
