The listed weight for the 100mm version is 160g, but for some reason my 50mm stem weighs a whopping 310g! Its a cool looking unit and does what its designed for, but its a little too much metal for my xc bike. Wish the listed weight was more accurate.

Awesome Stem

I decided to buy a shorter stem than what I had before to help beef up the front end of my bike as well as to make riding FR stuff more fun. I can still climb better than most of my friends with this short of a stem on my bike, and it has helped take my riding to the next level, seriously. Don't overestimate the value of a shorter stem. It keeps your steering more accurate, your jumping more powerful, and your landing more stable.

Love it, I was looking for a new stem, but didn't want to burn alot of cash, found this one, and I wouldn't buy anything else. you won't regret it, adn if you do, its prob too much metal for your style of riding.

30mm stems are hard to find

there aren't too many 30mm stems out there, and even fewer for a good price. i changed mine from this to a 70mm XC-style stem one day, and the short raceface one went right back on without hesitation! really great option if you want (or need) to keep your reach short.

Beefy

This is a great stem. It is very beefy. The product tech specs are wrong, it is a 50mm length. I don't think it is as light as the tech specs say either. It is a chunky stem that adds confidence. I like riding a shorter stem (65mm might be preferred).
