Rab Fusion Softshell Pant - Men's

Item # RAB0134

For those backcountry tours and multi-day mountaineering adventures that require more stretch and breathability, there's the Rab Men's Fusion Softshell Pant. But, Rab designers didn't sacrifice your comfort and protection to give you more mobility and versatility. In fact, Polartec NeoShell in the seat, knees, and rear with an additional layer of softshell on the thighs and back of legs offer some of the best protection possible ... short of wearing stuffy, unbreathable pants.

  • Polartec Neo Shell fabric features a water- and wind-proof membrane between the stretchy, abrasion-resistant face and soft lining
  • YKK aqua-guard zippers seal out all moisture to protect the contents of your pockets dry
  • 3/4-length side zips provide a variety of ventilation options and easy boot adjustment access
  • Keprotec kick patches keep you from shredding your pants with ski edges and crampons
  • Articulated knees keep pant cuffs down around your boots as you hike and ski

Bottom Line:

More stretch, no less protection.

I don't usually write reviews for gear but these pants deserve it!! They seem to be nearly indestructible, highly functional and great for all types of mountain endeavors......

I got these pants for a big wall expedition in Pakistan, wore them for 10 days on that wall, then took them on a late fall climbing trip to the desert and beat them pretty good there, guided for the summer season in the Tetons with them now I'm ski touring with them in the Rockies and they still don't show signs of wear!

I'm going to recommend these pants to my students that take advanced mountaineering courses in Peru through SIET:
