Quiksilver Travis Rice Gore-Tex Jacket - Men's - 2010

Quiksilver Travis Rice Gore-Tex Jacket - Men's - 2010 BCS

Item # QKS6220

Quiksilver’s Travis Rice Gore-Tex Jacket isn’t going to help you land a double cork 1260 or win an X-Games Big Air Competition. But if you want to wear it while hucking your meat off a massive cliff or over a giant gap anyway, at least you’ll be looking hardcore for the ride to the hospital.

  • Gore-Tex waterproof breathable membrane delivers superior protection against water and wind, and it also allows your sweat to escape
  • Internal goggle and media pockets to stash your gear when not in use
  • Water-repellent zippers add an additional barrier between you and winter wetness
  • Powder skirt to keep the pow where it belongs
  • Includes Recco Avalanche Rescue System in case you wind up in the wrong place at the wrong time
  • Regular fit with ergonomic elbows to facilitate better arm movement

Bottom Line:

Travis tested and approved.

Awesome Jacket!

Great Jacket! Looking for a Gore Tex shell that I liked wearing around town in addition to braving the elements! Love the offset zipper and second zipper for increased hood functionality! Powder skirt has a couple snaps built in right by the front zipper so you can snap it up and out of the way. Love the construction of the jacket because it is soft and supple not stiff and noisy like my Burton AK Jacket. The only draw back is the Zipper tabs are a little small and come off easier than they should. I've lost two already. Other than that this is my favorite piece of technical wear to date!

I absolutely LOVE this jacket. Being from the pacific northwest you have to be able to deal with allot of moisture! This jacket handles it like a champ. I love all the features it has (wrist guitar, audio pocket, powder skirt, pass pocket, and of course the very clutch vile and vile pocket cough cough to name a few). The extra chin zipper is super useful, especially when throwing a hood over your helmet cuz you don't have to expose your chin and mouth to the elements to get it over your lid. Oh and the offset main zipper is nice as wall as it keep the cold metal away from your chin and lips, another big plus. It's got a great fit as well as great movement, and to top if off those graphics, yeah!

Conclusion: $400 is allot to pay for a jacket, but this time.. WORTH IT!

I'd say it fits like a normal jacket. I normally wear a Med as I don't like baggy. But I'm 6'2 175 with long arms. Picked this up on a pre-season sale and they only had 1 large. It is a bit big on me but I'm not swimming in it so it's comfy. I think i am between a M and L on this jacket. I'd say a M would be good for you as long as you like things a little baggy. Over all the fit is still nice even in a larger size.

The jacket does fit a little big... Just bought the small and it is a comfortable fit with room for layering.

Flaming Lips orange

Great, slightly over-sized fit = plenty of mobility. Bold and bright prints that are totally original and super fun. I love this thing, it looks and feels so good on!

The black is toned down but still super fun. The yellow zipper adds some POP for some excitement. Both look awesome with yellow pants.

I'm 5'10", 150 lbs, and currently wear a size small Oakley Alps jacket. I like my jackets to fit slightly baggy but not ridiculous, what size would you recommend for this jacket?

Oakley is sized huge - Quiksilver is sized more regular. I suggest a medium for the best fit.
