Great all-around

Love the extra length, and the hood. Love the contrasting color inside. Only beef is that the zipper sticks out in an odd way. But I wear this all the time.

Love this freak of nature coat

I bought this from Backcountry on Black Friday and got a screaming deal. I hit the jackpot because now the prices are back up to 379. This jacket is too good to be true. Super lightweight, compact, warm, dry, extremely fitted and flattering, great hood. Nothing not to like, I would say on sizing it runs small. I normally wear a 6 or small and this took a medium and is fitted snug through the upper body. This jacket seems like a freak. I can't believe it could be made so light and compact and so warm. It is as light as a feather.

From the neck seam to the hem Patagonia says they are 32.5 for the small and 33.5 for the medium.

Best parka ever!

The parka is everything one could want in a parka-very, very light, flattering, warm as could be without any additional bulk and a great color ( I ordered the silver.) It packs into a small rectangle which can be used as a pillow. I plan on taking it to China this February. I've gotten so many comments on this parka and though it was a tad pricy for me, backcountry had free shipping and no tax which offset the cost. I love this coat and wear it around town. It is great both casually and for dress as it has almost a space-age feel with the slightly metallic sheen. The hood is just the right size for windy, cold conditions. How can one coat be so fab? Love, love, love it and I'm not easily impressed.
