Well Made Shoe

Great shoe. I got these on SAC for 1/2 price which I think is the right price. Everything seems to be too expensive these days, so I'm not sure I would pay full $ even though they are a quality shoe. They are well made with a nice strong, but smooth leather. I got the Mars Red and it is more of a mauve or brushed purple shade than a red shade, which is fine because that goes with even more clothes I think. I can wear them with or without socks; they don't rub the skin off your toes or anything. Great in the rain with socks, though not waterproof, they offer more protection than an open weave sneaker or sandal, but can still be worn without socks with a skirt or skort to go out after walking around all day. So, they are versatile for travel. I am a size 8 and the 8 is pretty true to size, but if anything is on the small side, just pulling it on over my toes at first and having it stretch slightly and wear in after about a week of 3-5 miles walking each day. If I were going to wear these mostly with heavy socks, I would definitely get a size up. If I purchased them again, I might try the 1/2 size up.
