Outdoor Research Sentinel Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Women's - 2010 BCS
Travel to the most exotic, bug-populated corners of the globe with the insect-repellent Outdoor Research Womenís Sentinel Shirt. The EPA-registered, odorless Insect Shield fabric repels mosquitoes, flies, ticks, ants, chiggers, and no-see-ums for over 70 washes. The collar flips up past your ears when you canít see through the swarm, and the breathable fabric dries quickly when the hot and humid climate makes you sweat. Covered underarm mesh panels vent out the excess heat, and when the swarm scatters after dark, the sleeves roll up and hook to buttons on the biceps so you can start a smoky fire.

At this price ($ 29.73 ) and with these features, this shirt is a great value for someone who needs help repelling insects. Cheers for 2 large, zippered pockets, the underarm venting, and the extra fabric available on the collar. I am 5'4", 36B, and 135# and the medium is perfect, with no extra fullness. The sleeves are longer than needed, but since this shirt is worn during sporting pursuits, the extra length gives mobility to hiking, horseback riding, rock scrambling, etc. Re: the fuchsia color: it is more on the red end of the spectrum than the pink/purple end - in fact, to my eye, it doesn't look pink or purple at all. The weave of the 85% poly/15% cotton softens the color, so that it doesn't appear as SOLID as the photo. I haven't washed it, so can't help your buying decision there.
