The lightweight Oakley Men’s Station Bike Jacket packs into its own pocket so you can stuff it in your hydration pack for any ride. The jacket’s waterproof, breathable fabric with fully taped seams will protect you from mountain rain showers, and underarm vent zips let you maintain airflow when you need to finish a sweaty ride. Roll the hood into the collar when you don’t need it pulled up.
Despite the description, the tag on the Station Jacket states that it is "water resistant." I haven't tested it in a deluge yet but the shell has taped seams on the inside and resembles the material of other waterproof light jackets such as the Sierra Designs model. I expect that it will be waterproof for a while and will gradually lose efficacy.
I'm 6'1" and 165 pounds. I ordered the medium and it fits fairly well. I have long arms and the arms of the jacket are long enough for me in the riding position. The body is quite short, though, and doesn't cover my butt at all in the riding position. The body is slim but not tight - I could probably fit a thin fleece under it. The hood mostly covers a helmet and has a good bill.
Overall, it's not an optimal cycling jacket. However, the pit zips make it attractive among lightweight shells.
