Shorter and more snug than other Norrona lines

I love Norrona and have a few of their pieces. But the sizing of this one is different from other Norrona lines. I have Falketind Warm 1, size XS fits perfect. So I got this hoody in XS, but it's too short in the back (I'm only 5'6"). It also fits a bit more snug than the Falketind, so that I wouldn't be able to layer anything other than just a t-shirt. I'm also a bit lukewarm on the caviar color - looks kind of like used fleece and zipper color is not as vivid purple as the picture. I did have one problem with the main zipper. As the other reviewer said, it zips ALL the way up to the top of the hood. So I tried it and zipped all the way to eye level - it's pretty weird but really cool, makes me feel like a ninja. But alas, I had the hardest time to unzip it as the fabric kept on getting caught by the zipper. I had to pull off the whole jacket to get it off, definitely not something to try in public !!! I decided to send it back - if the fit were better I really would have kept it.

that might be cause this line is more towards the street ware, whereas the Falketind line is more towards mountaineering.. :) I love it though!

Great style, quality....

It's fabulous, the Norrona /29 Warm 1 Zip Hoodie but, the sizing does NOT run small. I went with the recommendations I read that their products run large, and ordered the small, which turns out to be a mistake. I would say their sizing runs true. I'm broader in the chest and narrower in the hips, and it's ever so slightly snug in the chest, with basically a tissue t-shirt underneath. None the less, I'll be keeping it, because it really is exceptional quality and styling for the money.

I have never worn norrona clothing. Wondering about the sizing? Do the sizes tend to run big? Sometimes with other brands, XS is too snug but small is a little too bulky, any suggestions?

I have some ski pants from them, and love them. As far as the sizing goes..yeah this will run a little big..but its the length more than anything..they tend to run a little long. I would say if you are xs in Arc'teryx, you'll be an xs in this.

Good basic... but why is it $100?

Thumb loops inside sleeves nice feature. VERY thin and stretchy, but cozy. FYI-Fits more like a full zip hoodie than a jacket. Not sure its worth the $$$ but I am keeping it.

Love the full-zip on this

I found this jacket to fit a little larger than I am used to. It was so nice and light and warm, though. One thing I didn't realize until trying it on is that the zipper goes all the way up the hood- allowing you to zip it up completely and cover your face, if you are into that sort of thing. Great fleece.
