Nordica Olympia Beast Ski Boot - Women's

Item # NOR0075

Nordica's super-plush, three-layer Extra Warmth liner and women's-specific fit team up in the Women’s Olympia Beast Ski Boot to provide unparalleled comfort and performance for intermediate-level skiers. A closed-cell layer just inside the outer shell offers an extra helping of insulation, and the Olympia Beast liner's soft interior fabric and cushy open-cell foam layer wrap around the feet to eliminate hotspots. Nordica's fully-adjustable, customizable women's-specific cuff allows for punishment-free mountain slaying. The Olympia Beast's liner is compatible with most boot heating systems on the market, so don’t be shy, head to a ski shop and equip these suckers with battery-powered heat.

Bottom Line:

A luxurious Beast indeed.

Plush Soft Intermediate Boot

By:
July 19, 2010

Had these boots for several seasons and they were warm and comfortable, and were relatively easy to get in and out of, BUT, even adjusted to the stiffest settings using the microadjustment systems they were too soft for me. They packed out quickly and even on the tightest buckle positions my foot started to slip around inside them. I did have a first class ski shop recommend these for me, then custom fit them and added boot heaters, (which I love), and I also had custom foot beds made just for this boot and my feet which are; narrow heal, wide toes, very high arches, on a thin ankle with a small calf. I bought a different brand to replace these that has a narrower 98 racing base and a tougher 110 flex, I also went down a size from what the boot fitter recommended, got the toe area punched out just a bit on the sides, used the same foot beds and electronic heaters and I now have a way better boot than these old Nordica Beasts. Oh and I have learned to race now that I'm not wearing sloppy boots. I would only recommend these to a wide footed middle intermediate who doesn't get many ski days in a season and mostly stays on the green and blue runs. These are not for an aggressive black diamond charge.
