Nixon Delta II PU Watch - Men's - 2007 BCS

Item # NIX0406

Nixon designed the Men's Delta II PU Watch so you can rip on the mountain and prove it later to your buddies. Turn the bezel dial to Time, Ride, Compass, or Speed and record the total vertical, number of runs, speed and altitude of your kick-ass powder day. Track your direction and altitude in ‘Compass' mode, then rotate the bezel to ‘Speed'—the Delta II PU Watch's built-in slope sensor lets you select your pitch and record your speed as you accelerate down the mountain. Nixon made it easy to navigate through the Delta II PU watch's functions, so you can spend more time on the slopes and less time reading some dictionary-sized instruction book. Use the backlight to keep track of time when it's dark, or set the Delta II's alarm to catch the first chair of the day. The polyurethane band keeps this Nixon watch comfortable all season long. AVAILABLE FOR US SHIPMENT ONLY.

Bottom Line:

Prove your crazy-vertical runs and high-altitude jumps with Nixon's Delta II PU Watch.

Are you kidding me...

I have had this watch for about 3 months now and I cant lie, for those three months I have loved it. It is easy to read, it has alot of cool funtions, and the price was right. I have babied this thing because I have had a lot of experance with nixons (four watches) and know how fragile they are. I wouldnt even wash my hands with this thing on.... that was, until yesterday. I forgot to take it off to wash my hands and some water touched it. I KID YOU NOT... THE WATER FROM WASHING MY HANDS BROKE MY WATCH.... water got in the works of the watch and the face misted up from the inside and then the numbers faded and where gone.

I could try replacing the battery and the watch might come back, but even then the watch would have 2 FATAL flaws. 1) if the battery died and thats why my watch stopped working, then the battery lasted less then 3 months with very babied use. That is too short. and 2) WATER GOT IN THE HOUSING!!!! THATS NOT COOL.

This watch is cool, and got a bunch of great freatures, but nixon is now 4 for 4. Every nixon watch I have had has had a fatal product ruining flaw and this watch is no exception. Watch out for water getting in the housing and for this watch to be a real battery eater.

the watch seems pretty good so far, i just got it a couple days ago, i havent tested out the more complex features because i havent gone anywhere that would help. i plan on putting it through its paces in colorado in the spring. the only issue i have with it so far is the indiglo that helps with seeing the time at night, whenever i try to use it, the watch starts beeping for several minutes and when it stops, it is reset to factory settings and i need to re enter the time and everything else. its good except for that, wish it worked at night
