This is a SICK jacket. Took a chance, it was only $40 on WM, I wanted something light and waterproof, but not a technical rain jacket. This is perfect for what I wanted. The weight of the jacket is good, not light like for use during a summer rain storm, but not heavy like 20 degree weather. I wore it today in 40 degrees, and felt pretty comfortable. It looks great, I'm 5'10", got the medium, fits great, a tad baggy in the body, but to be expected from a Nixon garment.
Several small details that are a little annoying. First, the main zipper sucks. It's not a very rugged zipper. Second, I wish the body were a bit more fitted, it's kind of baggy, and the nature of the laminated fabric makes it stiff, so it doesn't conform too well. Hopefully it loosens up with time. Last, it's a little clammy, not super breathable, but I wouldn't expect gore tex or anything for this price.
Overall it's a great jacket, I'm pumped to wear it next wall/winter.
